Only Say the Word

I’m going to share a secret. When I’m in the depths of The Wound, I sometimes put the call out that I heard during Catholic mass as a child: “Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word & I shall be healed.”

No, I’m not becoming a born-again Catholic. It’s just that in all religions there are Those Things That Have Power. This, for me, is one of them.

What does this phrase mean? Apart from it being reminiscent of what a Roman centurian apparently said to Jesus, I see it as a call to the Masters who are available to assist us as we move through the challenge of being on the earth plane.

Of course, I have to mentally deconstruct this request to make sure I’m being clear when I reach out in this way:



• I have no “Lord” and don’t feel it’s in humans’ best interest to give up our authority to beings who seem to have a lot of power. Nor do I exclude the Feminine Divine. So I replace “Lord” with “Dear Brother Jesus/Jeshua & Blessed Mother, you who have healing power.”

• I recognize that I’m NOT unworthy. I’m a sovereign being with potential to become a Divine Human, but I have karma & some things I’m Still Working Out. So I replace: “I am not worthy to receive you” with “I recognize I’ve created karma in my lives & I carry some deep wounds.”

• Only say the word: This is where the prayer really brings me to tears.  I recognize the healing elixir of but one word or phrase from any of the Master Guides such as Jesus or Blessed Mother, Quan Yin or Tara, Asclepius or Archangel Rafael.

What might that word or phrase be? I don’t know, maybe:

• “I see you in your vulnerability, I see how hard you’ve been trying, you’re always forgiven by the Divine & it’s time to forgive yourself.”

• Or “I offer my love to your tender heart at this excruciating time.”

• Or “The Divine has utter & total compassion for you; this shall all be washed away in the perfect time.”

So when I utter this “Catholic” prayer, what I mean is: Dear Christed Master, Blessed Mother & all those Masters who have healing power, I recognize I’ve created karma in my lives & I carry some deep wounds, but only say the word & I shall be healed. Only say the word. Only say the word.

Whatever the “word,” I simply receive its healing in the most powerful way of all: through Silence.

Releasing into the Healing

It’s been a challenging passage for many earthlings as we go through the fire of transmutation. The Solstice time is a healing time, so now is the perfect moment to dive more deeply into that.

What Masters can you call to yourself to help? What prayer can you make to the Divine to assist? What “word” can you conjure within yourself to bring the healing?

At the Seven Sisters Solstice this Wed we’ll be offering “word” during the healing portion of the evening. As you rest in the arms of the Mother & receive golden light transmission from priestesses and soundscape healing from Timothy Surya Das, you’ll be hearing words alternating with silence.
