My Two Hours with Infinite Source

Two weeks ago, I embarked on a medicine journey that reshaped my understanding of existence. Guided by a medicine ally in a safe, intentional space, I dove into the depths of my being. For two extraordinary hours, I merged with Infinite Source ~ the boundless, loving intelligence that permeates all creation. It wasn’t a fleeting moment or abstract concept; it was a complete immersion, where I was Source, one with the divine pulse.

During those two hours, I experienced a peace beyond words. Every cell in my body hummed with pure well-being, free from tension or striving. It was as if the universe cradled me, whispering that all is well, always has been, and always will be. This was an inner, intrinsic wholeness, a remembering of my true essence as one with the Divine.

But as the medicine’s peak softened, I sensed the connection fading. The island of Source, so vivid and tangible and right under my feet, began to drift beyond reach. Now, I carry its memory ~ a beacon of what’s possible ~ but I’m back in the human experience, grappling with the same emotional currents I thought I’d transcended. Feelings of lack, longing, and old wounds have surged with intensity these past two weeks, demanding attention. I strive still, caught in the tension between that divine union and the earthly reality of my inner work.

This vulnerability, though, feels like an invitation to integrate the experience more deeply, to honor both the light and the shadows.

The Craving for the DivineThis journey illuminated a universal truth: connection with Infinite Source is what every heart seeks. We chase it through relationships, achievements, or distractions, but these are fleeting substitutes for the divine embrace. Our world seems wired for disconnection ~ societal norms prioritize individualism, competition, and material gain, pulling us from the unified field of Source. Technology, meant to connect, often fragments our presence, fostering isolation amid shallow interactions. Environmental harm reflects this inner rift, as we exploit Earth rather than commune with her.

As I was in the Oneness, connected yet sovereign, I realize that this disconnection is the root of all agony. It fuels our longings, negative emotions, and existential voids. Without Source, we feel incomplete, seeking union in others ~ romantic love becomes a stand-in for divine love, breeding codependency or heartbreak. We crave validation or control, projecting our inner emptiness outward. This fracture births discontent, where nothing feels enough, and even disease ~ stress-related illnesses, addictions ~ stems from a soul unmoored from the divine flow.

Yet, my glimpse of Source revealed a world reborn from wholeness. If we lived from this filled place, Earth could become an Eden again. Our lives would weave love and profound creativity, uplifting each other without fear of differences. Control would dissolve in trust; escapism would fade, replaced by the natural joy of presence. Bodies would heal, minds would clear, and harmony would reign as our natural state.

Even now, as I navigate my own striving, I hold this vision as a guiding star.

How to Cultivate the ConnectionYou don’t need a medicine journey to touch Infinite Source, though such tools, used responsibly, can be powerful catalysts. Here are ways to connect, drawn from my experience and timeless wisdom:

  • Daily meditation is a cornerstone: Sit for 10-20 minutes, focusing on your breath, visualizing a golden light filling you and expanding outward. Affirm: “I am one with Infinite Source.”
  • Nature grounds us ~ walk barefoot on grass, feeling Earth’s pulse.
  • Gratitude journaling shifts focus from lack: List three things daily that spark divine connection.
  • Deep breathing, inhaling to a count of 4 and exhaling to a count of 6 calms the mind for receptivity.
  • Chanting “Om” or listening to binaural beats aligns your vibration.
  • Energy practices like Reiki or Qigong clear blockages.
  • Read sacred texts ~ Rumi’s poetry or the Bhagavad Gita ~ and embody their wisdom through freeform dance.
  • Above all, practice self-compassion: Forgive your striving, because judgment widens the gap.

My two hours with Infinite Source remain a sacred gift, even as I face the paradox of heightened emotional challenges. That distant island calls me to keep bridging the human and divine, integrating both with honesty. This is our birthright: to know Source within, to transform striving into presence. Beloved One, take a breath. Feel the whisper of Infinite Source in you. It’s always there, waiting to guide you home.

Guidance is key. Listening to the voice of the infinite Source, Love, Spirit … and following the iinner prompts lead us home to the Joy of Light. This journey is very deep within … to the One awakening the sleeping Mind. Dreaming up all the images of linear time., we appear to be blocked from letting go of it. When I listen to the voice of the ego, I make separation ‘real’. Fear, guilt, grief and anger follow all false beliefs. The Infinite Source, Love, Spirit can use all of the images of time and space as symbols, to gently guide us Home.

Thank you Marguerite for this beautiful expression of your experience of truly feeling and being the Divine.

You are a brave and shining soul. You’ve dived deeply into your psyche and explored realms that many of us have only glimpsed.

I am recovering from a hip replacement surgery, and am embracing the healing journey; learning to walk again using walker and cane. I have yet to return to my yoga teaching online and at Lenox Fit.

I have been following your videos and blogs and find them very inspiring.

I wish you luck and grace as you integrate your deep connection with Infinite Source with your day to day human experience.

    Sending you love and peace,
    Linda
