Laura Eisenhower recently reminded a group I attended that the time between 2012 & 2017 has been particularly important for humanity from esoteric spiritual perspectives. As I understand it, it’s been a kind of “Are you going to do the work or not?” window.

Five years ago I was getting ready to serve as an oracle for the first time publicly at what would become the annual Seven Sisters Winter Solstice Ceremony. Seven women dressed as the 7 Sisters of the Pleiades supported me as I took the audience through a guided meditation into higher realms & a symbolic rebirth on that fateful 2012 night.

A young girl later asked the oracle: I hear that at Solstice this year we’re all supposed to go through some kind of portal, is that true? I responded: You just did. How did it feel?

The shift that the gyrations of the universe set in motion that Dec 2012 night was not immediate; it’s taken years for its effects to be felt.

Take a moment to reflect back: What’s happened to you since Dec 2012? Have you been to heaven & hell? Have you felt your back against the wall? Have you been put through the meat grinder & pushed through the sieve? Have you fallen, been broken open, been disillusioned & humbled? Have you wondered if you’d make it?

Would you trade any of it for what you’ve learned, for how you’ve deepened?

My Inanna Descent

As I’ve been sharing over the years, I’ve had my own heaven & hell run since 2012. This past fall I hit what I consider to be rock bottom. At least, I HOPE it was the final rung of the inferno, because it was not fun. Being in fetal position in front of your altar feeling totally disconnected from the Divine, like a refugee of humanity & like you’re in mourning for your life never is.

I knew the true meaning of “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.”

Avoiding this horrible pit is why people turn to sex, drugs, workaholism, Facebook scrolling & all manner of addictions. This is nothing any of us wants to feel.

I’ve talked to a number of other healers & clients who’ve been through the same thing recently. And if you look at it, the US as a whole, if not the entire world, seems to be in a dark night of the soul.

What exactly is going on? “She’s breaking up, she’s breaking…” We’re going through the eye of the needle.

Who knew IN-scension would mean going DOWN to go up? Who knew when we signed up that it would be so brutal?

The time has come.

Speaking of time, has it gotten really weird for you, too? As part of this passage, I notice that I’ll be thinking of something & it will manifest right before me in living daylight. Or I’ll be shown the reality of a situation through a single symbolic action that encapsulates the whole thing – if I’m paying attention. And I can know the entire trajectory of a decision in a single second.

I’m way more telepathic. I can’t ignore what I know other people are really thinking, what I’m picking up on about what’s actually happening between us. And I sense they know the score, too.

The tender gift: I was shown in ceremony that because I’d hit bottom I’d cracked open, and that meant that the light of Divine Mother could now shine through me more fully.

Once the ego is tempered through humbling, even humiliation, the high vibration can take root and you can begin to inhabit your God/dess Self.

This Poison Is the Medicine

When my partner Robert & I separated 9 years ago he said: “It’s so you can become a medicine woman.” Cold comfort. Medicine journeys for me were largely dangerous experiences of the same personal trauma surfacing again & again, combined with interpersonal conflict arising. I couldn’t imagine navigating that space with others with any kind of grace.

Over the years I’ve worked medicine in the privacy of my own lair, letting it tear me apart, lift me up & show me the Way of the Oracle.

Finally, last week, I found myself in ceremony with a group. I was able to hold my medicine & hold others in the process as they puked their guts out. Not that what they were going through might never happen again for me, but I was shown I was in this new place because I had Done My Work. I was becoming clear, wise, boundaried, grounded, available.

I was becoming a Medicine Woman.

This year’s Seven Sisters Solstice ceremony falls on Dec 20, the day before the shortest night of the year. So I see it as a kind of eleventh-hour opportunity for that last 2017 push into our collective rebirth.

Here’s a suggestion: spend the next week & a half intending that any unfinished business in this leg of your IN-scension process will be handled through grace & ease. Ask the Divine Realms for assistance.
