Ready to be the Sacred Hermaphrodite?

The more mystical among you will love this. In ceremony recently, I was shown an even deeper aspect of the theme of self-love that I’ve been experiencing & writing about of late. I was shown that the esoteric concept of the “alchemical wedding” is, in fact, something that’s accomplished not when two souls meet & join in erotic love, but, rather, when a single soul lovingly merges its own dual nature into one.
So, to explain, your soul is “two” in that it consists of 1) yourself, and 2) your awareness of yourself. When your “awareness” of yourself turns inward and loves your “selfness,” that is, “who you are,” it’s the most powerful tantra there is. 
This “inner” tantric practice of You Loving You, of coming to your Soul as lover, is a deeply mystical process that unites the Yin & Yang within you (or, we might call them your “Feminine” & “Masculine” aspects).
This tender embrace of Self creates an “inner gold,” and that inner gold is the full activation of your inner divinity. You become the Androgyn, that is, the Sacred Man-Woman (Womb-man?), the Sacred Hermaphrodite. This is what all the spiritual hullaballoo around tantra, sacred, marriage & so forth, has been about – the importance of you loving not some other person, not some external deity, but Loving You Yourself! Narcissus was part way there, but he was still externalizing himself as his love object. It’s what most of us do when we fall in love. We fall in love with our own projection of our best Self.
I’m shown, interestingly, that Unity Consciousness will manifest when everyone has united with themselves, first. The first person to merge with and love is YOU; the rest will follow. If you love yourself truly, deeply, madly, tenderly, unconditionally, you will heal the world. Now that’s something to meditate on.
