She is the foremost authority on the history and practice of divine birth, and a celebrated pioneer in the revival of Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and the womb mysteries ~ particularly with her books The Secret Life of Mother Mary: Divine Feminine Power for Personal Healing and Planetary Awakening and The Mystery Tradition of Miraculous Conception. Marguerite Rigoglioso (pronounced REGAL-yo-zo), Ph.D., founder of Seven Sisters Mystery School (est. 2012), is an internationally celebrated scholar, visionary, and teacher of ancient mystery lineages. A respected bridge between academic rigor and sacred revelation, she is a foremost authority on the authentic history and spiritual legacy of Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene, as explored in her groundbreaking books The Secret Life of Mother Mary: Divine Feminine Power for Personal Healing and Planetary Awakening and The Mystery Tradition of Miraculous Conception: Mary and the Lineage of Virgin Births.
Regarded as the leading scholar on the sacred history, practice, and metaphysical significance of divine and virgin birth, she has authored two additional pioneering academic works, The Cult of Divine Birth in Ancient Greece and Virgin Mother Goddesses of Antiquity.

Specializing in ancient Mediterranean traditions, she traveled extensively throughout Europe and North Africa—studying sacred sites, artifacts, inscriptions, and oral lore.

She holds a Ph.D. in Humanities and an M.A. in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and an A.B. in Psychology (High Honors) from Vassar College.
