Did Guinevere, Arthur, Jesus, and the Magdalene ever walk the planet? The truth is, no one can really say for sure. The more you try to understand these figures by approaching them textually, historically, archeologically, genealogically, geographically, or anthropologically, the more they disappear. Yup, go through the literature and they’ll just seem to dissect apart and evaporate under the relentless scrutiny of the sarcastic scholarly lens.
But I see it this way: The Pleiades also nearly vanish from view in the night sky when you look at them straight on. Yet that doesn’t mean they’re not there. In fact, they are present in ways that we are only now beginning to remember ~ and understand ~ fully.
Like the Pleiades, Jesus, Arthur, Guinevere, and the Magdalene must be approached with the true wisdom body. They need to be glanced at obliquely, explored with the third eye, discerned with the intuition, even with the imagination. Because they are shapeshifters, too. Just when you think you’ve found their true essence by sifting between the lines of lore and unearthing a new gem, you’ll find another tidbit that suggests the opposite thing to be true about them. So you gotta be real fluid with these people. You have to embrace paradox.
Since first going to Glastonbury, the location in the British Isles that retains the whiff of the royal figures of Avalon and of the Holy Family, I’ve understood Arthur to be a latter-day emanation of Jesus. It’s just something I sensed intuitively, based partly on the names of the sacred individuals that were peppered throughout the legends of the land, and partly on my growing awareness of what Arthur represents.
But then… I’ve of late also been persuaded by scholarship suggesting that Arthur, the great King of Britain, dwelt in “prehistorical” times, which would mean he actually came BEFORE Jesus.
Whatever the order, whatever the timeline, an understanding is unfolding within me with ever greater intensity that the family of Christ and the Marys is connected esoterically, and possibly even genealogically, to Guinevere and Arthur.
Yeah, yeah, the scholars have been pointing out the correspondence for hundreds of years, some even claiming that the original stories of Arthur and Guinevere were deliberately tweaked to portray them as Christians.
Still, my intuitive mind tells me there’s something about all these connections that feels accurate, exciting, and NOW.

The legends say that both Jesus and Arthur were “once and future kings.” That they would come again. There are prophecies that Arthur literally would “wake up.”
I’m feeling this second coming big time, now, and when I listen to the monthly oracles of Lisa Renee, who says that Arthur’s consciousness is literally arising from a “stasis” state in the inner planes of Earth where it has been lying in wait, it seems I’m not alone.
And more: As I’ve connected the dots, I’ve come to understand Guinevere as a latter-day emanation of the being I will call Mary in her amalgamated form of virgin Mother and tantric partner of Jesus.
These are great mysteries that are upon us now, that are begging to be uncovered. For they hold medicine for our present lives and our present age.
As I am feeling it, this is the time to lift Arthur back up as the Sacred Masculine King that he is in essence, underneath the stories of fighting armies, dastardly intrigues, and bitter betrayals. To understand him as the divinely born presence who, like the great Master Jesus, was trying to protect our world from the onslaught of negative forces that wanted to suck the juice out of it.
It’s a time especially to exonerate Guinevere, to know her as something other than the abducted maid or the betraying wife. It’s time to understand her as the Divine Feminine Queen who was the centerpiece of Avalon, its Mother, like Mary. To perceive her as the sacred counterpart of the Christos, like Magdalene. To grasp her original pre-patriarchal power, her connection with the Realms beyond the veil, her spiritual royalty in the lineage of the ancestors of us humans, the Faery/Sidhe.
These large souls are magical mirrors for us. They reflect where we are. If we are low vibrational and stuck in the sexual misery programming that’s been injected into the earth plane, they may appear as victims of temptation, betrayal, and cuckolding. If we are high vibrational beings on the ascension path, they’ll be seen as Divine Consorts modeling the hieros gamos, the sacred marriage, and, as such, role models for us in the restoration of relational harmony.
As we discern, restore, even CO-CREATE their stories and meanings in their light-filled forms, we release the negative energies that have come through their disturbing ~ perhaps even deliberately distorted ~ narratives… and, in doing so, we co-create our new earth.
This is the approach I take to these archetypal beings in my new course Heal Yourself & Our World by Reclaiming Guinevere, Arthur, the Fae & the Round Table. The journey together will be an inner excavation and reconstruction of what we need now from these great souls. We will go beyond the path of scholarly right and wrong to the famous “field” of Rumi, where we will meet them, meet ourselves, and learn about what it means to embody the Christ-Sophia aspect of their reality as discerned by our own Divine Intelligence.
Ultimately, these beings and their stories need to be approached with the consciousness of love. Because in the end, that’s what’s really important here ~ that we are growing into our own Sacred Hearts.
