On Oct 12, I was delighted to be honored with a special award for my book The Cult of Divine Birth in Ancient Greece at the conference Women Rising! New Visions for a Post-Patriarchal World, held at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I earned my PhD & MA, and where I’ve taught.

The Faeries synchronistically conspired to have me join one of the conference panels at the last minute. Turns out it was entitled Women’s Ancestral Wisdom, Witches & Spiritual Connections to Nature – a very Fae topic, wouldn’t you say?
